Buttermilk Pancakes and Cake

So once upon a time I had a ridiculous amount of Buttermilk to use, because I bought waaaaay too much for a different recipe that will be posted shortly. So I had to think of ways to use it up! So I googled for recipes and found one for buttermilk pancakes and buttermilk cake! Sounds good right? Well, they were good! The pancakes had an absolutely fantastic taste to them and were so soft and moist. The cake was too die for! it was a tea cake kind of deal, so it was really light and not too sweet. Which is perfect for a treat when you don't want to kill yourself with sugar!

Coconut Peanut Butter Toast

Sometimes you gotta spice up you breakfast a little. Try peanut butter on toast with coconut flakes sprinkled on top. Yummm.

Cinnamon Rolls

Geeze laweeze, so I know it's been absolutely forever since I've posted on this blog. About 3 months actually! Life has been busy ha. So this first of my late posts is from Christmas. Sooo Merry Christmas!! I hope you all had a wonderful day :) It's been tradition in my family to have these Fantabulous Flapjacks for breakfast in the morn, so of course we had them and they were fantastic :) We did get a delicious can of Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls, so we popped those open, too! Here's a yummy pic :)
And here's some pics from my fantastic Christmas :)
The traditional line-up :)

Grandma Carlene's Quiche

My Mom's Mom, Grandma Carlene, always seems to make this when we have Christmas dinner at her house each year :) I love it! And had a craving for it haha It's perfect for my breakfasts to have before work at the t-shirt factory, too, because I can eat in on the road :)

This recipe makes 2 pies!

2 Pie crusts
Enough ham or bacon to cover the bottom of pie crust (sliced)
Grated swiss cheese to cover meat
 4 eggs
1tbs flour
½ tsp salt
Sprinkle nutmeg
Sprinkle cayenne or pepper
 2 c half n half
1 ½ tbs melted butter

Preheat oven to 375 degrees and place oven rack on the very bottom slot.

Mix ingredients 4-8 together. Mix last 2 ingredients, then add into wet flour mixture.
Pour into pie shell to the top of the pan
May have leftover
Bake for 40 min ON THE BOTTOM RACK

Cake Pancakes? Yes Please.

Oh my gosh I love Friday's. Treat day!!! And my good friend, Kiersten has started doing this healthy eating style with me and she's been good at it! Sniff. So proud. So since none of us had our early classes today, Kiersten, Jordan, and I decided to make a delicious Pinterest recipe. Cake Pancakes!! These. Are. So. Good. I thought they were going to be a lot cakey-er than they actually were, which is a good thing! Cuz then I could actually have two :) Only barely though haha. If you was to die a delicious death, make these now.

Fantabulous Flapjacks

I have one word for this brilliant breakfast item. Fanfreakingtastic. Yes, that is a word. Thank you, Aunt Virginia for giving my family this Fantabulous Flapjack mix for Christmas 7 years ago :) Oh and like I said before, I only eat treats on Monday's, so since I put a plethora of syrup on these, I count them as a Monday thing, making the tradition of having these every Monday morning for breakfast :)

Fantastic Frittata's

Ok, so here's the thing. I already wake up early enough to get myself semi-decent for the world that I don't want to have to spend an extra 10 minutes to cook, eat, and burn my esophagus with Malt-O-Meal everyday. Soooooo I make these! They're delicious, easy to make, and good for you :) What other reasons are there? Just make these the night before, then nuke 'em in the microwave and off you go to live your busy life!
